Centurion DX Controller with Wireless SMART Siren and DC-DC Regulator: Gate Standing Open Alarm

Notes

Summary

This diagram shows how to wire a Centurion Wireless SMART Siren to a DX controller so that it sounds an alarm when the gate is left standing open.  A DC-DC Regulator is used as an interface. It is powered from the controller's 24V supply and switched by the controller's I/O6 output, which is assigned to the external gate status "Open". When the gate is open, the regulator's relay closes and triggers the siren input. The siren's blanking time sets how long the gate must stay open before the alarm sounds.
