This wiring diagram illustrates how to connect the tamper alarm output of a device to a compatible alarm panel zone/input. The tamper output is used to notify the alarm panel whenever the protected device is opened, removed, or otherwise tampered with.
When a tamper event occurs, the alarm panel will detect the change in the input state and respond according to its programmed configuration, such as activating a siren, generating an alarm event, or notifying a monitoring station.
