No Limits Set (Sector)

This error will display if the End-of-travel limits have not been established.

Solution

• Set the gate travel limits by accessing the Setting Limits menu (Menu1: Setting Limits) and following the onscreen prompts or steps supplied below:

The procedure for setting limits sector barrier.

 

1. Put the barrier pole in the fully-lowered position.

2. Press and hold the enter button    until the display shows “setting limits”.

3. Press the enter button , once, to get into the menu for setting the limits. 

4. Follow the instructions on the display, and confirm the statement on the display by pressing the enter button    , once, until the display shows: 

5. Press the enter button , once, and the barrier will start to set the limits on its own, while you wait.

6. The barrier will stop in either the fully-raised, or the fully-lowered position when finished, and the display will show: “Is the boom raised? Yes”

7. Confirm with the enter button   if you agree (i.e. the barrier is fully-raised), or select “No” using the down-arrow button .   Press the enter button , once, to confirm . 

8. The display will indicate “Set up complete”.  Press the enter-button  , once.  “Setting limits” will be displayed.  Now press and release the exit button , once, to exit programming-mode.      

9. The sector barrier is ready now for operation.
