Learning a Remote Button for the Pedestrian Function on D5 EVO or D10
Should you desire to program a new Nova Remote button to the onboard receiver of the D5 EVO or D10 for the pedestrian gate function, which essentially opens the gate to a pedestrian opening, please follow the steps outlined below:
Learning a Remote Button for pedestrian:
- Press and hold the oblong button (between the two arrows) for approximately 2 seconds
- A screen will appear that says “Setting Limits”, press the up arrow once until the screen displays “Remote Controls (TX)”
- Press and release the oblong button (don’t hold it)
- The screen will display “Add Remote”
- Press and release the oblong button (it serves as sort of an “Enter” button)
- The screen will display “Select Function: Scroll with the arrow until you see the Pedestrian Function
- Press and release the oblong button
- The screen will now display “Timebar Remote: No”
- Press and release the oblong button
- The display will now ask you to press your remote button
- Press and release the desired remote button(s)
- A unique ID number will appear on the screen, indicating that the button has been successfully learned
- Now press the ROUND button
- TWICE to exit the menu
- You are good to go to!
