The R6 swing gate motor is typically supplied with pre-tensioned chains. However, if there's a need to adjust the chain tension, the following steps can be taken:
Tensioning the Top Chain:
Use a size 5 Allen key to loosen the electric motor.
Move the electric motor to adjust the tension:
Move it away from the chain to reduce tension.
Move it toward the chain to increase tension.
Tensioning the Bottom Chain:
Loosen the small sprocket using a size 13mm spanner.
Adjust the tension by moving the sprocket:
Move it towards the chain to increase tension.
Move it away from the chain to reduce tension.
