Frist step: Select the door type.
Once the mains and batteries are connected the LCD display will alternate between LL and SE. By default the SDO4 is set as SE - for sectional doors. If this is the type of door being automated press the confirm button once only L.L will now be shown on the LCD display. Should a Tip-Up door be used single press of the “+” or “-“ button will change this to Tu - Tip-Up door. The display will now alternate between LL and Tu, press confirm and only L.L will be displayed.
Second step: Start automatic setup.
Once the door type has been confirmed press the Confirm button once. The door will start by closing first, once the closed end stop has been reached the door will move to the open position, once the open end stop has been confirmed the door will move to the closed position and stop. A single “.” Dot will be displayed to indicate a successful setup and the SDO4 is now in standby mode.
Optional:
Modifying the position of the door. The limits must be started from approximately the midway position. Should the door be within approximately 200mm of the closed position or open position, use the “+” button (open) or “-“ (close) by pressing and holding it down to drive the door to the midway position then start the limit setup. (this can only be done after door type has been selected)
