How to Set Up Limits on a V-Series (VX) SMART Swing Gate Motor
Follow the steps below to set or reset the limits on your V-Series SMART Swing Gate:
Download the MyCentsys Pro App
If you haven't yet installed the app on your smartphone, download it from your app store.Connect to the Motor
Open the app and connect to your motor. For new installations, tap on the Set Gate Limits option. If resetting limits, tap on the Configure Cycle, select Settings, and tap on Setup Wizard.Enter Operator Details
On the operator location details page, input your preferred operator name, select your region, and choose the correct time zone. Once done, tap Next.Gate Lock Selection
Select whether a gate lock is present, then tap Next.Single or Double Swing Gate
Choose whether your setup includes a single swing gate or a double swing gate by tapping the corresponding image.Leaf Delay
If your gate has a lock or lip, select Yes for a leaf delay or No if not requiredSafety Device Notification
You will be notified that safety devices like beams won't function during the limits setup. Tap Confirm to proceed.Safety Checks
Confirm that the origin clamps are installed, then tap Confirm.Gate Swing Direction
Select whether your gate swings Inward or Outward, then tap Next.Motor Engagement
If the motor is not engaged, lock the arm with the provided key and tap Next.Clear the Area & Start
Ensure the gate area is clear and tap Start to begin the limits setup.Master Gate Direction
The master gate leaf will open slightly. Confirm the direction is correct by selecting Yes if applicable.Slave Gate Direction
The slave gate will also open slightly. Confirm the direction is correct by selecting Yes. Both gates will then fully open and close to automatically adjust the speed and current based on your setup.Final Confirmation
The system will generate a report showing the maximum speed, peak currents, and sensitivities. Once the settings have been validated and saved, your motor is ready for operation.
