How to factory reset the Lattice master tag reader if master tag is lost
If the master tag required for configuring settings has been lost, a factory reset will be necessary to program a new master tag.
Kindly follow the steps below to successfully perform a factory reset:
- Remove all power from the Master reader.
- With a short piece of wire, bridge the FRX and ALARM terminals together.
- Reapply power for 30 seconds.
- Remove move all power and remove the bridge.
- Reapply back power.
Please be aware that the procedure above will not only delete the master tags but will also remove all settings and tags, which will need to be reprogrammed.
