Disconnect the Power
- Start by disconnecting the main power supply to the motor. This ensures your safety while working.
Access the Battery Enclosure
- Use a star screwdriver to unscrew and remove both the top and bottom screws securing the battery enclosure.
- Gently lift off the top cover to reveal the batteries inside the housing.
Disconnect the Battery Leads
- Carefully disconnect all leads attached to the batteries. Take note of their positions to ensure correct reconnection later.
Remove the Old Batteries
- The batteries are secured with double-sided tape. Use a firm, sharp jerking motion to pull them free from the housing.
Install New Batteries
- Place the replacement batteries into the battery housing. Ensure they are positioned securely.
- Reconnect the battery leads exactly as they were before. Double-check that the connections are secure and in the correct orientation as shown below:
