How to Program a Nova Remote for the Run Function on an SDO4 Garage Operator

The Run Function  is associated with opening, stopping and closing the garage door only via your Nova remote.

Programming:

1. Enter Programming Mode:

   • Momentarily press the Learn button.
   • The LED display will show “00” to confirm that you are in the programming menu (00 will be displayed if the memory is blank). If there are remotes learned, it will show the number of remotes learned.

2. Select run Function:

   • Scroll using the ‘+’ and ‘-’ buttons until "ru" is displayed:
     

1. Learn Transmitter Button:

   • When the "ru" function is shown, press and hold the transmitter button for approximately 5 seconds.
   • The courtesy light will stop flashing to indicate a valid RF signal is being received.
   • The courtesy light will flash and the buzzer will beep accordingly to indicate a successful learn.
