How to Install and Configure a PCB V1.3 SDO4 Smart Carrying Firmware V1.10.1.0 or Later Using Battery Power Only (No Mains Power)

Please note that this version of the SDO4 SMART garage door operator allows you to power up the unit without mains voltage being present. The MyCentsys Pro mobile application can also be used to enable Sleep Mode during prolonged power outages.
Please ensure to connect the battery harness (two blue connectors) in the battery box, before continuing.


The battery voltage must be within the required limits to allow the SDO4 SMART to be powered up.  Refer to technical specifications carried in the link below:
To power up/activate the unit, please follow the steps below using the Courtesy Light Switch:
1. Press and hold the Courtesy light for 3-5 seconds, and release (Light will flash three times)
2. Set up limits and configurations using the MyCentsys Pro Mobile Application
3. Place the unit back into “Sleep Mode” to conserve battery life using MyCentsys Pro Mobile Application


The SDO4 SMART will automatically power up once mains has been restored.
This function is only available with PCB V1.3, and Firmware V1.10.1.0 or later.
