Adding a New MyCentsys Remote User to CENTURION SMART/SMART+ Device
Summary:
To allow a client to use MyCentsys Remote with a DX SMART/SMART +, the client must first be added as a Remote User through MyCentsys Pro. Their permissions must then be configured before they can register and add the DX SMART in the MyCentsys Remote app.
Process:
MyCentsys Pro Setup
Connect to the DX SMART:
Connect to the DX SMART using the MyCentsys Pro app.Authenticate the connection:
Authentication will be required for non-Admin users when connecting to the operator.Navigate to Remote Users:
While connected to the operator, navigate to Users → MyCentsys Remote.Add the Remote User:
Add the client's user details under MyCentsys Remote.Configure permissions:
Ensure that the appropriate permissions are selected for the user. These permissions will determine what the client is able to access or control through MyCentsys Remote.
MyCentsys Remote App Setup
Register on MyCentsys Remote:
Once the user has been added to the operator, the client can download and register on the MyCentsys Remote app.Add the device:
From the MyCentsys Remote home screen, select + Device → SMART.Select the operator:
Select the applicable DX SMART from the list of available devices.Access the operator:
The client will now be able to access and operate the DX SMART through MyCentsys Remote, according to the permissions assigned to their user profile.
Important Notes:
- The client must first be added under Users → MyCentsys Remote in MyCentsys Pro before they can access the operator through MyCentsys Remote.
- Ensure that the user's permissions are correctly configured when adding the user.
- MyCentsys Pro is used to connect to and configure the operator and manage Remote Users.
- MyCentsys Remote is used by the client for day-to-day operation and monitoring of the DX SMART.
- If the user has not been added through MyCentsys Pro, they will not be able to successfully add the DX SMART through MyCentsys Remote.
