How do I transfer a G-Ultra/Speak Ultra to my G-WEB profile?

If your G-Ultra device is currently registered on another user's G-Web profile, you can follow one of the below steps to have the unit transferred to your profile.


Request transfer from previous owner.


The current device owner can transfer the device to your G-Web profile by following the below steps. Ensure that you have an existing G-WEB profile before proceeding with the transfer request.
  1. Tap the device which is to be transferred.
  2. Scroll to the right on your navigation bar and select "Transfer Device"
  3. Enter the e-mail address of the account you wish to transfer the device to, and tap the link "Validate".
  4. Once the e-mail address has been validated tap the link "Request Transfer"
*Device Transfer may be affected by network coverage as the device being transferred needs to be synched.'



Factory Reset

If the previous device owner cannot be reached, a Factory Reset needs to be done on the unit. This will remove all profile settings from the unit and dissociate the unit from the current G-WEB profile it is linked to. Access to the physical device is required to do this.

  1. Scroll with the arrows on the device and select device reset.
  2. Then scroll until you reach factory reset.
  3. Once selecting factory reset, the heading on the lcd screen will be "settings will be lost"
  4. Select the check mark below this heading and press enter. An icon displaying files entering a trash can will then appear to indicate that a factory reset is being performed on the unit.
