Before You Begin
Before starting the limit setup, ensure the following:
- The operator is engaged.
- There are no obstructions in the gate's path.
- The gate can move freely through its full travel.
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1: Connect to the Operator
- Open the MyCentsys Pro app.
- Connect to the gate operator.
Step 2: Open the Setup Wizard
- Tap the three dots at the bottom centre of the screen.
- Select Settings.
- Tap Setup Wizard.
Step 3: Set the Operator Name (Optional)
- You will have the option to change the operator name.
- Edit the name if required.
- Tap Next.
Step 4: Set the Maximum Speed
- Select the maximum speed at which the operator should run.
- Tap Next.
Step 5: Review the Safety Warnings
- Carefully read through the warnings displayed on the screen.
- Once you have read them, tap Start.
Step 6: Learn the Gate Limits
- The gate will begin moving at a slow speed.
- Once it reaches the first end stop, confirm that it has reached the end stop.
- The operator will then move the gate towards the opposite end stop.
- Confirm when the gate has reached the second end stop.
Step 7: Automatic Verification
- The operator will automatically perform two additional full-speed cycles.
- These cycles verify that the gate limits have been learned correctly.
Step 8: Select the Gate Position
Once the limit setup is complete, select whether the gate is currently:
Step 9: Gate Report
- A Gate Report will be displayed.
- Review the information if required.
- Tap Done to continue.
Step 10: Configuration Wizard
- You will be prompted to run the Configuration Wizard.
- If no additional configuration is required, select No to skip this step.
Result
The limit setup is now complete, and the operator has successfully learned the fully open and fully closed positions of the gate. The gate is now ready for normal operation.
