Smart Motor Connection Issue – MyCentsys Pro App
If you are experiencing difficulties connecting your SD04 Smart or other Smart devices to the MyCentsys Pro app, please follow the troubleshooting steps below.
Step 1: Test with an Alternative Phone
Attempt to connect using a different phone.
If the motor connects successfully on another phone, the issue is likely related to the original phone’s Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) functionality.
Step 2: Recommended Solutions
Restart the phone.
Ensure the operating system is fully updated.
Verify Bluetooth is enabled and app permissions are correctly set.
Clear cache/data for the MyCentsys Pro app (Settings → Apps → MyCentsys Pro → Storage).
Reset network settings.
Test in Safe Mode to check if a third-party app is causing conflicts.
If the issue persists and the phone is under warranty, contact the device manufacturer’s support or a qualified technician.
Step 3: Possible Causes of BLE Connection Problems
Software Conflicts – Third-party apps or modified system settings can interfere with BLE. Resetting app preferences or removing conflicting apps may help.
Operating System Bugs – Some OS versions may introduce Bluetooth issues. Check for system updates that could resolve these.
Hardware Malfunction – Physical damage to the phone’s Bluetooth chipset, antenna, or related components may cause connectivity problems.
Battery Saving Modes – Aggressive power-saving features can restrict BLE in standby or low-power mode.
Firmware Issues – Corrupt or outdated phone firmware may impact Bluetooth. Updating or re-flashing firmware could resolve this.
Incorrect Settings/Permissions – Ensure Bluetooth is turned on and that the app has all required permissions.
Environmental Interference – Obstacles or interference from nearby devices may weaken Bluetooth signals.
Factory Reset – In some cases, a factory reset may resolve persistent software issues (note: this should be a last resort).
Obsolete Hardware – Older phones may not fully support newer Bluetooth standards
