(Motor is visible but connection is not possible)

If this is your first time trying to connect your Smart motor and you're having trouble linking your SD04 or other smart devices to the Mycentsys Pro app, then please refer to the following troubleshooting guide below.  This information is especially helpful if you're using the Mycentsys Pro app for the first time on your mobile device:

Troubleshooting Steps:

Step 1: Ensure that both Bluetooth and location services are enabled on your device.

Step 2: Verify that your Android device is running version 6 or newer, while iOS devices should be on version 13 or above. For iPhone users, it's essential to have an iPhone 6 or a more recent model.

Step 3: Check that your phone's Bluetooth functionality supports BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy).

How to Verify BLE Compatibility:

  1. Open your preferred internet browser, such as Internet Explorer or Google Chrome.
  2. Type your device's name into the search bar and search for its full specifications.
  3. Within the specifications, find the "Comms" section.
  4. Locate the Bluetooth information, which will indicate the version of Bluetooth your device supports.
  5. Use this comparison to determine if your device supports BLE. [Attached images showcasing phones with and without BLE compatibility.]

By following these steps, you can ensure your device is compatible with the Mycentsys Pro app and resolve potential Bluetooth connectivity issues.
