Centurion Systems Spikes/Claws Lower and Raise Multiple Times Before Pole Rises in Safe Mode
Several factors can lead to the intermittent raising and lowering of the spikes/claws before the pole begins to ascend when the spikes are configured in safe mode. In this mode, the spikes/claws initially lower before the boom starts to raise.
Possible Causes:
-Faulty relay between proximity sensor and spikes/claws controller.
-Faulty doss and doss cable in the spikes/claws' gearbox.
-Faulty proximity sensor located at the far end of the spikes with its cable.
Possible Resolutions:
When the issue occurs, it's essential to inspect and assess the following components:
-Check the reliability of the relay connection between the proximity sensor and the spikes/claws controller.
-Examine the condition of the doss and doss cable within the spikes/claws' gearbox.
-Evaluate the performance of the proximity sensor situated at the far end of the spikes, including its associated cable.
